Being the first designer to join Copart’s IT team I was able to work on multiple projects from the ground up and improve existing applications including several desktop apps, two mobile apps and one tablet application. As part of an Agile team that is constantly looking to upgrade their products, some of these designs are a work-in-progress and subject to change.

Copart Inc. had been using the primitive CAS system for processing vehicles since Willis J. Johnson founded the company in 1982. The company was in need of a modern and modular solution to build scalable applications.

From towing vehicles, to transfering documents, setting up and processing auctions, and delivering to buyers, Copart has developed an application for every step of the vehicle's end-to-end experience.

Mobile application for towing contractors - Helps them find vehicles, process paperwork and receive payment.

Tablet application for vehicle movers at the yards. They make sure spots are always filled and vehicles delivered to buyers.
